Grzegorz Machowski D.Sc. Eng. graduated from the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environment Protection, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (2003). In 2010 he obtained the D.Sc. degree in Earth sciences, discipline: geology, at the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection, AGH-UST. From the beginning of his scientific career he has been bound with this Faculty.

His scientific-research work refers to the petrophysics of reservoir rocks and spatial geological modelling applied to the petroleum exploration, geothermal research and geological sequestration of CO2. He has been an author and co-author of a number of reports for the industry, more than 30 scientific articles and papers presented during scientific conferences at home and abroad, and three monographs.

Grzegorz Machowski is a member of the Scientific Association of the Oil and Gas Industry Engineers and Technicians, Polish Geothermal Society and European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers.
