Latest issue of Oil and Gas News:

    • Application of simulation models for liquid loading analysis in vertical gas wells in mature reservoirs under low-pressure conditions.
The article presents a comprehensive methodology for analysing and optimizing liquid unloading in vertical gas wells in a gas reservoir under low flowing pressure conditions. The developed approach includes detailed assessment of production parameters, interpretation of geophysical data, produced water characterization, well flow modeling using PIPESIM software, and dynamic reservoir modeling. Based on this, critical velocities and minimum production rates enabling effective liquid removal were determined. Practical implementation of the described methodology demonstrated that maintaining production above the critical value allows for stabilization of well operation, elimination of liquid loading without costly technological interventions, and extension of well service life. The results were confirmed by continuous monitoring of production parameters... dalej
    • Technical and Legal Aspects of the Use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in the Household
The article presents the most important information on the physical and chemical properties of liquefied petroleum gas – LPG, comparing them with the properties of natural gas. Technical data of gas cylinders used to supply gas appliances in the household are given. Restrictions on the possibility of using installations powered by liquefied petroleum gas in buildings are specified, as well as technical and construction legal requirements for supplying gas installations in buildings from individual LPG cylinders, in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines specified by companies installing such installations... dalej
    • MXene in LEO – from AGH University to International Space Station
