Dr hab. inż. Maria Ciechanowska, prof. nadzw. INiG
Associate professor Maria Ciechanowska Ph.D. graduated from the Faculty of Geology and Exploration of AGH University of Science and Technology, speciality – exploration geophysics. Since 1971, she has pursued her career working in the Institute of Oil and Gas. She has held the positions of junior lecturer, assistant professor and professor. She was also Head of Petrophysics Laboratory (1976-1988), Head of the Department of Drilling Geophysics (1988-2001), President of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Oil and Gas (1994 – 2001). She has been Managing Director of the Institute of Oil and Gas since 2001. She specializes in geophysical well logging and the development of well logging data processing and interpretation. She is the author or a co-author of 5 monographs, 54 articles, 33 presentations and 71 documentations of scientific research.
